John S. Daly

Former Chairman of Global Equity Capital Markets • Goldman Sachs

John S. Daly joined the Board of Directors of The Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2018.

Daly is the former chairman of Global Equity Capital Markets (ECM) at Goldman Sachs. He is the current Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Irish Sovereign Wealth Fund (Future Ireland Fund) and is a co-founder of 25madison — a venture studio focused on incubating early-stage start-ups and venture capital investing. 

At Goldman Sachs, he served as head of both the Americas ECM Group and the Asia ex-Japan ECM Group. He held various leadership positions in the Financing Group, both in Hong Kong and New York, and served on the now-dissolved Firmwide Commitments Committee as well as the Investment Banking Division Americas Operating Committee. 

In addition to serving as a Board member for The Michael J. Fox Foundation, Daly also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Treasury Management Agency and Trinity College Dublin Provost’s Council, the Irish Arts Centre in New York and TMRW Sports, the parent company of TGL, a tech-infused indoor professional golf league. 

Daly graduated with a BAI in Engineering and a BA in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin. He also earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
