Marc S. Lipschultz
Co-Chief Executive Officer • Blue Owl Capital Inc.
Marc Lipschultz is Co-Chief Executive Officer of Blue Owl Capital Inc. and a member of the firm’s board of directors. He also serves as a Co-Chief Investment Officer for each of the Blue Owl Credit Advisers. Previously, Lipschultz co-founded Owl Rock Capital Partners, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Credit platform.
Prior to founding Owl Rock, Lipschultz spent more than two decades at KKR, where he served on the Management Committee and as Global Head of Energy and Infrastructure. His career spans leadership roles across private credit, private equity and infrastructure. Prior to KKR, he worked at Goldman Sachs, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and principal investing.
Lipschultz is deeply engaged in nonprofit leadership, also serving on the boards of the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research, Mount Sinai Health System, Riverdale Country School, the Stanford University Board of Trustees and the 92nd Street Y.
He earned an MBA with high distinction as a Baker Scholar at Harvard Business School and an AB with honors and distinction, Phi Beta Kappa, from Stanford University.
