Mark L. Hart III joined the Board of Directors of The Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2009. He is the chairman and chief investment officer of Corriente Advisors, LLC, which he founded in 2001 with less than $1 million under management.
Corriente Advisors is a global-macro investment advisor that currently manages funds focused on Europe and China. Prior to forming Corriente Advisors, Mr. Hart was a founder, principal and managing director of Tarpon Advisors, Inc.
He earned a BA in Plan II Honors from The University of Texas at Austin in 1994.
