Melanie Isbill

President, Convenience Retail • RaceTrac

Melanie Isbill, a third-generation leader and the President of Convenience Retail at RaceTrac, joined the company in 2008 as a Commercial Analyst. After earning her MBA, she returned in 2011 as RaceTrac’s first Private Label Brand Manager. Over the next decade, Isbill advanced through a series of leadership roles, including Director of Brand Communications, Executive Director of Marketing, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Brand Officer.

As a member of RaceTrac’s Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors, Isbill plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategy and culture. She also serves as Executive Sponsor of LEAD, RaceTrac’s Women’s Leadership Business Resource Group, where she champions the advancement of women in leadership.    

Her impact has been widely recognized across the industry. Her honors include “Who’s Who in Marketing at Leading Retailers” by Shopper Marketing (2016), “Top Women in Convenience: Woman of the Year” by Convenience Store News (2021), and Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “2025 Women of Influence.” She was also a finalist for the 2025 Georgia CMO ORBIE Awards. Beyond The Michael J. Fox Foundation, she also serves on the board of The Georgia Aquarium. She is a Troop Leader for Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta and a member of the Georgia State University Marketing Roundtable.   

Prior to joining RaceTrac, Isbill gained early professional experience at The Coca-Cola Company and Macy’s Merchandising Group. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Italian language from Southern Methodist University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.    

An Atlanta native, Isbill lives with her husband, Steve, their two children, Lily Ray and Eddie, their dog, Hurley, and two turtles, Mila and Superman.
