THANK YOU TO OUR 2017 PARKINSON'S DISEASE EDUCATION CONSORTIUM
Patient and caregiver education and engagement leads to better health outcomes for the individual and the collective, through specialist care, use of new treatments and participation in clinical research. Our Parkinson's Disease Education Consortium is an alliance of biotechnology and pharmaceutical firms who support our commitment to furnishing high-quality education resources for the Parkinson's community, including "Parkinson's 360" toolkit, Third Thursdays webinar and podcast series, "Ask the MD" video and blog series, Research Roundtable events, and MJFF website content. In 2017 the Consortium will be developing a "Research Participation Awareness Campaign" to increase patient engagement in PD research. While the generous support of our consortium members makes our educational programs possible, their donations do not influence MJFF content, perspective or panelist selection.
Thank you to our 2018 MDS-PAS Movement Disorders School for Neurology Residents
In partnership with The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS), MJFF hosts the MDS-PAS Movement Disorders School for Neurology Residents. This program is an opportunity for neurology residents to learn about movement disorders and to consider specializing in the field.

THANK YOU TO ACORDA THERAPEUTICS
In 2016, MJFF and Acorda Therapeutics announced a collaboration to support research conducted by Connie Marras, MD, PhD, at the University of Toronto seeking to understand the impact of "off" episodes on people with Parkinson's disease and care partners. The study also will identify barriers and facilitators to communication about "off" periods between health care professionals, patients and caregivers.
