Peggy Taylor, ScD

Peggy Taylor is the general manager of the neuroscience division at BioLegend, where she is responsible for scientific and operational leadership of the business. Prior to joining BioLegend in 2014, she was the director of the antibody products business unit at Covance. Peggy has led the efforts of a development team producing and developing antibodies and immunoassays that are sold as research reagents since 2004. She has extensive experience in the development and commercialization of products in the neuroscience field. Since 2008, she has worked with The Michael J. Fox Foundation to optimize and validate a total alpha-synuclein Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (biochemical analysis technique), and her laboratory has performed sample analysis in support of the Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative. Peggy earned a doctor of science in cell biology from Harvard University and is a member of the New York Academy of Science and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
