Fox Foto Friday: Behind the Scenes at the Dr. Steve Show

Danna Jennings, MD, is director of clinical research at the Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders in New Haven, Connecticut and an investigator in the Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI). This weekend she’s also a guest on the Dr. Steve Show, a syndicated television talk show focused on health and wellness.

We snapped a photo when Danna was in the studio with host Steve Salvatore, MD, on February 18 to tape this weekend’s segment on what smell loss has to do with Parkinson’s disease (PD). PPMI is recruiting individuals with smell loss as it’s an early sign of PD risk; the study is looking for biomarkers of Parkinson’s that would help diagnose patients, track disease progression and test new treatments.

If you’re over age 60 and do NOT have Parkinson’s, take the smell survey to see if you’re eligible to participate in PPMI.

Check to see if the Dr. Steve Show plays in your area and, if so, at what time. Or visit the blog next week to watch the clip of Danna’s appearance.
