Global Community Conference on Parkinson’s Disease

Global Community Conference on Parkinson’s Disease

From March 2-4, 2014, the Parkinson Association of the Rockies will host a global community conference on Parkinson’s Disease in Keystone, CO. The conference will focus on research, care and support systems through plenary sessions, workshops and panel discussions. Highlights will include:

  • The Michael J. Fox Foundation Research Roundtable
  • A presentation by NASA Astronaut and Parkinson’s patient Rich Clifford
  • Talks by invited national and international speakers recognized for their expertise in the PD community, including select speakers from Keystone Symposia's concurrent scientific meetings on Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Disease.

Both those serving the Parkinson community and individuals living with the disease will be in attendance.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation Research Roundtable will be an in-depth panel discussion covering topics that matter most to patients and their loved ones to help them stay up to date on our urgent pursuit of medical breakthroughs. Ample time will be devoted to audience Q&A so that attendees’ questions can be answered by our expert panel.

This gathering also offers an opportunity to meet members of the Foundation staff and the broader Parkinson’s community.  The roundtable will be hosted by Dave Iverson, a Parkinson’s patient, veteran journalist and contributing editor to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Conference participants can register for $275.  Registration information and a detailed schedule can be found here.
