Debi's Blog: Why I Raised My Hand to Participate in PPMI

NonProfit PRO released their fourteenth list of Nonprofit Professionals of the Year — an annual celebration honoring the sector’s best and brightest thought leaders and innovators in nine various categories ranging from fundraising, lifetime achievement, executive, marketer, rising stars and more.

Awarded as 2020 Executive of the Year, Debi Brooks, co-founder of The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF), is recognized for her vision and leadership that has helped scale the Foundation from a fledging startup to the world’s largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson’s research.  NonProfit PRO shares:

“Debi won’t be satisfied until there’s a cure for Parkinson’s. It’s this very ambition that has helped her scale the foundation — as Michael puts it — ‘with no blueprint.’”

Browse the entire list of nine leaders changing the world through their impactful work in health care, education, environmental change, social services and more.
