Alejo Nevado-Holgado, BSc, MSc, PhD

Alejo Nevado-Holgado has a BSc and MSc in artificial intelligence (AI), a BSc and MSc in computational physics and a PhD in computational neuroscience and AI. Together with Prof. Noel Buckley, he leads the Computational and Molecular Neuroscience Laboratory at the University of Oxford. This laboratory includes specialists in AI, bioinformaticians and biochemistry. He and his teams have a strong track record in the applications of AI to the study of neurological disorders. He has written or participated in 70 peer-reviewed journal publications and collaborates with laboratories across the UK, Europe, Japan and the United States. The laboratory is funded by support from the National Institute for Health Research (UK), John Fell Fund (UK), Rosetrees (UK), King Abdulaziz University (Saudi Arabia), National Institutes of Health (USA), the Medical Research Council (UK), Johnson & Johnson (USA), Ono Pharma (Japan) and Novo Nordisk (EU).
