Elisa Greggio, PhD

Dr. Elisa Greggio is a molecular physiologist in the Department of Biology at the University of Padova, Italy. In 2001, she received a masters of science degree in biology at the University of Padova and, in 2005, a PhD in molecular physiology and structural biology at the University of Padova. From 2005 to 2009, she was a post-doctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Neurogenetics, National Institute on Aging, where she worked on LRRK2 and inherited Parkinson's disease. In 2009, she was awarded the "Brain Gain" fellowship from the Italian Ministry of Education. She is currently serving as an associate professor in physiology at the Department of Biology, University of Padova, where she studies the molecular and cellular mechanisms of LRRK2-linked Parkinson's disease.
