Erik A. Miljan, BSc, PhD

Head of Stem Cell Discovery at ReNeuron Limited

Erik Miljan received his graduate degree (BSc) at the University of Western Ontario, Canada, in 1993 and completed his post-graduate studies (PhD) at the University of Hong Kong in 1999. He undertook a three-year post-doctoral fellowship at Northwestern University, Department of Neurosurgery, studying Pediatric Brain Tumors at the Children’s Brain Tumor Research Institute, Children’s Memorial Hospital, Chicago. Dr. Miljan joined ReNeuron in 2002 as an Investigator and has since been promoted to its management team as Head of Stem Cell Discovery, managing early stage stem cell biology to proof-of-concept as well as external discovery science collaborations across the globe. He has strong background chemistry, biochemistry and signal transduction and his research interests are to apply this knowledge to the commercial development of stem cell therapeutics for the treatment of unmet or poorly met medical needs.
