Dr. Eti Yoles is Vice President of Product Research and Development at Proneuron Biotechnologies. She earned a PhD in neurobiology from Bar-Ilan University, Ramat-Gan, Israel in 1990. Dr. Yoles graduated cum laude with a thesis on age-related brain ionic and metabolic responses to stress conditions. In the subsequent 10 years, first as a postdoctoral fellow and later as an assistant staff scientist in the laboratory of Professor Michal Schwartz at The Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, she studied the physiological aspects of post-traumatic neuronal survival, focusing on the role of the immune system in maintenance and repair of the central nervous system. At Proneuron, Dr. Yoles serves as a member of the executive management, determining company strategy and use of company resources to obtain strategic goals.
