Fabiana Novellino, MD, received her degree in medicine and surgery in 2004 and completed residency training in neurology in 2010 at the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro, Italy. Currently, she is a researcher at the Institute of Molecular Bioimaging and Physiology, National Research Council (IBFM-CNR), Catanzaro, studying brain changes responsible for movement disorders and searching for biomarkers of neurodegenerative diseases. In the past, she also served as a visiting research fellow at the Centre for Biomedical Technology, Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience Laboratory, Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain.
