Jill Krause is the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) program specialist for the Nebraska Parkinson's Disease Registry, a position she has held since data collection for the registry began in 1997. In this role, she has managed the data submitted by Nebraska pharmacies, physicians and people with Parkinson's disease. She also oversees the linkage of the registry data with the Nebraska State Death File as well as with other DHHS registries. She has been involved in discussions with the Reportable Conditions Knowledge Management System and the Centers for Disease Control regarding electronic case reporting and the National Neurological Surveillance System. She is currently collaborating with a healthcare technology solution company to design an electronic system for Nebraska Parkinson's Disease Registry reporting.
