Kin Y. Mok, PhD, FRCP, MBBS

Dr. Mok completed his MBBS at the University of Hong Kong in 1985 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 2007. He began gradually switching from clinical neurological service to neurogenetics research and obtained his PhD in neurogenetics at University College London in 2013. He continues his research work in John Hardy’s laboratory at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology and is a senior research associate. Dr Mok has published in multiple fields on the genetic basis of neurological diseases including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, dystonia and motor neuron disease.
