Lara Petricca, MSc

Head of biomarkers and diagnostic development at ND-BioSciences

Lara Petricca received her MS in biomolecular sciences from the University of Milan in 2008 while working on Huntington’s Disease in Professor Senator Elena Cattaneo’s lab. During her Marie Curie fellowship, Dr. Petricca started working on assay development for neurodegenerative disorders in different companies, first as a scientist (from 2010-2012 at Siena Biotech in Siena, Italy) and then as head of neuroscience lab and project leader (from 2013-2019 at IRBM in Rome). During this period, she enrolled in the PhD graduate program at the University of Tübingen (Germany) under the supervision of Prof. Olaf Riess. In 2020, Dr. Petricca joined ND Biosciences as head of biomarkers and diagnostic development, where she is leading the company’s immunoassay development efforts.
