Marc Oeller is a postdoctoral fellow in the Mann group in the department of Proteomics and Signal Transduction at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Bonn and his PhD from the University of Cambridge. During his PhD, he developed experimental and computational methods to measure and predict solubility of proteins and peptides. At the Max Planck Institute he is developing proteomic tools to investigate the biological mechanisms underlying Parkinson’s Disease. He co-founded the Young Alliance Against Multiple System Atrophy, a registered charitable association dedicated to fostering patient-centric research on multiple system atrophy.
