Professor Olivier Rascol, MD, PhD, is a neurologist specialized in Movement Disorders, Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at the Toulouse University Hospital (France). He is chairing the Toulouse Clinical Investigation Centre (CIC14136), the Toulouse Expert Center for Parkinson Disease (PD), the NS-Park/F-CRIN Network on clinical research in PD, the National French Clinical Research Infrastructure Network F-CRIN, and co-chairing the National French Reference Center for Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). Professor Rascol’s main fields of interest is the development of innovative therapies for PD, MSA and other movement disorders. Professor Rascol has served as the Secretary of the International Parkinson & Movement Disorders Society, as the chair of IP-MDS European Section and as the chair of the Movement Disorder Scientific Panel of the European Academy of Neurology. Professor Rascol has published >580 articles in international scientific journals.
