Peter Jenner is chief scientific officer and a non-executive director of Proximagen Neuroscience, PLC, and Professor of Pharmacology in the School of Health and Biomedical Sciences, a position he has held since 1998. He is director of the Neurodegenerative Disease Research Centre and the National Parkinson Foundation Centre of Excellence. He is a fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, a fellow of the British Pharmacological Society, a fellow of King’s College London and Vice-President of the European Society for Clinical Pharmacology.

Professor Jenner serves on the editorial boards of several international journals, including Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Journal of Neural Transmission and Neuropharmacology, and is the European editor of Synapse. Professor Jenner has published extensively on the basic aspects of movement disorders and Parkinson’s disease and is a world expert on experimental models of Parkinson’s disease. He presents regularly at meetings and conferences around the world.
