Dr. S. Prasad Gabbita is currently the Vice President for Research and Development, P2D, Inc., Cincinnati. Dr. Gabbita obtained a PhD in toxicology from the University of Kentucky, Lexington. His research interests include: 1) discovery and development of drugs for treating neurodegenerative diseases including Parkinson's disease (PD), Alzheimer's disease (AD), Lou Gehrig's disease and 2) identify, validate and develop assays for serum and CSF diagnostic biomarkers for early detection of traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.
