Rejko Krueger, MD

Head of Department for Translational Medicine at Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine

Rejko Krueger, MD, is a professor of clinical and experimental neuroscience, head of the Department for Translational Medicine at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) of the University of Luxembourg and a movement disorders specialist at Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL). He studies the genetics of neurodegenerative diseases using stem cell models to develop novel precision medicine approaches. He has authored over 120 publications in scientific journals. Dr. Krueger  coordinates the National Parkinson's Cohort within the National Center for Excellence in Research on Parkinson's disease (NCER-PD). Since 2017, he also coordinates the first integrated health care concepts in Luxembourg including ParkinsonNet, in collaboration with Prof. Bas Bloem and the National Dementia Prevention Plan.
