Sharon Hassin-Baer is director of the Movement Disorders Institute at
Chaim Sheba Medical Center, and the chair of the department of neurology and neurosurgery, Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel. Prof. Hassin-Baer obtained her medical degree from Tel Aviv University, her neurology training from Sheba Medical Center and her movement disorders training at
Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. Her research focuses on genetics in Parkinson’s disease as well as other genetic movement disorders.
