Dr. Wencheng Liu is a research assistant professor in the Department of Neurology and Neuroscience, Weill Medical College of Cornell University.  Currently, Dr. Liu is focusing on dissecting the molecular and cellular pathways that underlie axonal degeneration in Parkinson disease. Dr. Liu has extensive experience with protein chemistry, mouse genetics, and has been working on animal models of neurodegeneration.  Dr. Liu received his PhD from Purdue University and completed his postdoctoral training at Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
