Dr. Yiyun Henry Huang is the Director of Chemistry and a professor of diagnostic radiology at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven. He is also Co-Director of the university’s Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Center. Dr. Huang has over 20 years of experience in radiochemistry and novel PET radiotracer development, as well as application of PET imaging in the investigation of addictive disorders and neuropsychiatric diseases. Specifically, he has developed, or participated in the development of a number of PET radiotracers for the dopamine, serotonin, glutamate, nicotinic acetylcholine and opioid neurotransmitter systems.
