Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to: 

1. Describe potential risk factors and early signs of Parkinson's disease. 
2. Recognize the motor symptoms of Parkinson's that often are present at diagnosis. 
3. Discuss how biomarkers (objective measures) could aid Parkinson's research and care. 
4. Identify non-invasive technologies that could serve as potential methods to diagnose and monitor PD.

Target Audience

This educational activity is designed for primary care physicians, family practice physicians, general medicine physicians, geriatricians, general neurologists, movement disorder specialists and any other health care practitioners who manage patients with Parkinson's disease.
