Dr. Gassan Massarweh received his chemistry education at the University of Hamburg/Germany. He has over a decade of experience as Director of Cyclotron and Radiochemistry Facilities in three different universities in Canada. He is associate professor at the department of medicine, neurology and Neurosurgery, at McGill University. He seeks to produce radiolabeled pharmaceuticals that meet the highest standards in the field so that researchers with whom he partners can obtain high quality data and make a difference in patients’ lives. Under the leadership of Dr. Massarweh, the Montreal Neurological Institute’s Radiochemistry facility offers the largest catalogue of PET imaging tracers in Canada.
