Jeffrey Kordower has been an international leader in the field of Parkinson’s disease (PD) and related disorders for decades. He has particular expertise in studies performed in nonhuman primates, and he is ranked 40th in PD expertise worldwide (http://expertscape.com/ex/parkinson+disease) and in the top 13% for all biomedical sciences (https://journals.plos.org/plosbiology/article?id=10.1371/journal.pbio.3000384#pbio-3000384-t001). He is a current and founding member of The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). He is a past president of the American Society for Neural Transplantation and former member of the Movement Disorders Society International Executive Committee. He has published more than 400 peer-reviewed manuscripts and chapters, most in the area of PD and related disorders.
