Dr. Rozenfeld-Mechlovich received a PhD in neuropharmacology from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. Over the last 8 years, Dr. Rozenfeld-Mechlovich has worked in the field of neurodegenerative disorders, focusing on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease (PD). She previously worked at Varinel Inc. and Aramon Ltd., two companies developing drugs for Parkinson’s, before joining Bio Shai Ltd. as a clinical research project manager in September of 2015.
The goal of her current research is to validate a PD biomarker based on the peripheral blood expression profile of genes associated with Idiopathic Parkinson's disease and the prognosis of PD severity.
