Roger Tam, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Radiology and a member of the MS/MRI Research Group in the Division of Neurology at the University of British Columbia. He also is a member of the Biomedical Engineering Program in the Faculty of Applied Science and the Bioinformatics Program in the Faculty of Science at the same university. His studies how computer vision and machine learning can improve the analysis of medical images. Currently, he aims to better understand neurological disorders by using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
