Act Now: Your Senator Is Deciding on Medicare Prescription Drug Costs

The Senate is considering a bill that will protect Medicare recipients from high out-of-pocket prescription drug costs once they meet catastrophic coverage in Medicare Part D. It is called The Reducing Existing Costs Associated with Pharmaceuticals for Seniors (RxCAP) Act.

People with Parkinson’s disease shouldn’t have to face financial hardships to be able to take the medications that allow them to maintain their quality of life.

The Senate is considering legislation that places an out-of-pocket maximum on drug costs for people who are enrolled in Medicare Part D. There are protections from high out-of-pocket drug costs in private health insurance plans, but not Medicare. It’s time to change that.

Your voice can make a difference on this critical vote.

We have a short time to act. Ask your Senator to support the RxCAP Act today!
