Tom Davidson

Tom spent his career in the toy and hobby industry. While working for a toy distributor he founded a retail chain, Play Co. Toys, giving up ownership of the company’s 19 locations in 1995 when it went public.

Tom co-founded and held the positions of managing member and CEO in toy manufacturing and marketing companies. He built two companies that reached the top twenty position in the toy industry, XConcepts and XKites, before selling both in 2006. From 2007 to present he has been involved in direct response marketing, development and management of several light industrial buildings in San Diego County.

Tom graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in marketing in 1970. He’s been married to his wife Nancy for 45 years and has two married children and five grandchildren.

Tom was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2008. He served as a director of the Parkinson's Association of San Diego for five years and served as chairman of annual walks raising over $1,000,000.
