Dennis Selkoe is the Vincent and Stella Coates Professor of Neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He received his undergraduate BA degree from Columbia University in New York. Dr. Selkoe’s laboratory has long been interested in the biochemistry and molecular and cell biology of neurodegeneration during brain aging, particularly in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and Parkinson’s disease (PD).
