Pamela M. England, PhD

Associate Professor at The Regents of the University of California San Francisco

Location: San Francisco, CA United States

Dr. Pamela M. England has extensive experience in developing and applying chemical tools for studying the structure and function of signaling proteins, including ion channels, protein kinases and transcription factors. Currently, her efforts are centered around Nurr1, a transcription factor central to the development, maintenance and survival of dopaminergic neurons. Dr. England is developing small molecules that bind directly to and modulate the activity of Nurr1 as a means of improving the health and signaling of dopaminergic neurons in the central nervous system.
