Dr. Pascale Brunel is a project expert in pre-clinical safety who provides dedicated preclinical safety expertise to the Aging Unit at Sanofi; she is based in Paris, France. Dr. Brunel has a DVM from the National Veterinary School of Maison-Alfort and Faculty of Medicine of Créteil (Paris area) and masters of science (DEA) in fundamental and applied toxicology from the University of Paris 6. She joined Rhône-Poulenc in 1987 and performed general and reproductive toxicity studies as study director, representing pre-clinical safety in several discovery and development projects of different therapeutic areas, including central nervous system degenerative diseases, and managed and mentored toxicologists. Dr. Brunel is involved in the design of program and project development strategy, issue resolution and innovation. She has co-authored journal articles and posters.
