Dr. Khanna is the founder and CEO of DiscoveRx. He has had over 25 years of experience in biotechnology industry and played a key role in the commercialization of the Enzyme Fragment Complementation (EFC) Assay technology. He has over 40 issued patents and approximately 40 scientific publications. He is an inventor on the vast majority of patents related to the use and applications of EFC Assay technology. Prior to founding DiscoveRx, Dr. Khanna was President and CEO of Microgenics, which was founded as a result of a management buy-out from the Roche-Boehringer Mannheim merger. Dr. Khanna has also served as Vice President and Head of the U.S. Laboratory Diagnostics Division for Boehringer Mannheim Corp. He was a cofounder of ChemTrak and Assistant Director of Research for the Syva Company. Dr. Khanna has a PhD in bio-organic chemistry.
