Dr. Lee received her PhD at Washington University in St. Louis, MO in 2008. Her research project was to develop new ligands for the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors gamma (PPAR?), which plays a role in various diseases, including diabetes, obesity and cancer. In addition to her thesis, she was involved in chelating peptides with Cu-64 for diagnostic imaging. She joined the Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders (IND) in December 2008, as a research radiochemist focusing on radiolabeling new ligands with F-18 in Dec 2008. In Sep 2009, she became production manager at IND.
