Ziv Gan-Or, MD, PhD, has completed his MD/PhD training at Tel-Aviv University, Israel, and his postdoctoral training at McGill University, Canada. He is currently an assistant professor in the Neurology and Neurosurgery Department at Montreal Neurological Institute at McGill University. He studies the role of the GBA gene in Parkinson's disease, as well as the role of genetic factors in REM sleep behavior disorder and its conversion to Parkinson's, dementia with Lewy bodies and multiple system atrophy.
