Ziv Gan-Or, MD, PhD

Dr. Gan-Or is a neurogeneticist studying the genetics of Parkinson’s disease, REM sleep behavior disorder and other neurodegenerative disorders. He is an Associate Professor at The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital), McGill University, where he serves as the Co-Director of the Clinical Research Unit, which performs all the clinical trials at The Neuro, and as the Director of the Neurodegenerative Disorders Research Group. Dr. Gan-Or is also an adjunct member of the Department of Human Genetics at McGill University. His lab, the Neurogeneomics and Precision Medicine (NAP-Med) lab, is using advanced genomics and computational methods to study these diseases, aiming to identify targets for therapy at the population and the individual levels.
