Dystonia & Parkinson's Patient Symposium

On February 28th, The Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia & Parkinson Foundation will be hosting the Dystonia & Parkinson’s Patient Symposium for Patients and Caregivers, a free event in New York City, open to the general public, geared to patients living with dystonia and Parkinson’s disease, their caregivers, medical students and medical professionals. The subject of this symposium is Educate & Empower:  Learn the Latest Treatments, Therapies, Coping Techniques and Research, and will include a panel discussion with renowned doctors, specialists and scientists as well as a question and answer portion with the audience.  In addition to panel discussion, the event includes interactive classes of Chair Yoga, Emotional Coping Strategies , Alexander Technique and Chair Dance Therapy.  For more information on this event, including registration information, continue reading below.
