We Are the Faces of Parkinson’s Disease

This guest post comes to us from Foundation friend, Karen Jaffe, MD. Karen is an OB/GYN in Cleveland, Ohio, and a member of MJFF’s Patient Council. She and her husband, Marc, are both Team Fox members. Marc is a control participant in the Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI). Karen’s currently training for RAGBRAI, in which she’ll bike 471.1 miles across Iowa.

In her post, she shares photos of “a small handful of the wonderful people I have met since being diagnosed… None of these men and women question their lot...but none are accepting of it either; we all do what we can...when we can. I love each and every one of these Faces of Parkinson’s. They are, in every sense, the definition of Parkinson’s 101.”
