Men's Fitness Sits Down with MJFF's Sam Fox

Endurance athlete and MJFF staffer Sam Fox (no relation to Michael) sat down with Men’s Fitness’ Mike Simone to talk about Tour de Fox — a 14,000-mile cross-country endurance challenge to unite the Parkinson’s community and to raise $1 million for critical research.

Sam discusses how he came up with Tour de Fox and his training regimen to prepare for 103 straight days on the route:

“I always feel like I’m training for a run at least as long as a marathon so I’m constantly in running shape. Generally I try to gain weight before I do a trip like this, between 10-15 pounds before June, because I know I’ll be losing a lot of that and I like to bulk up around danger joints, so for me that’s ankles, knees and hips.”
