Team Fox member Sarah Lord hosted her first Pancakes for Parkinson’s Event at the Roeland Park Community Center this past weekend which raised over $2,400.  The event was sponsored by Pillsbury who donated cases of their new "Pour, Flip and Serve" pancake batter.

The event was a family affair, from her brother who designed the promotional signs and logos, to her boyfriend's dad, Frank, who acted as photographer. The event also included raffle prizes and a "pancake wall" in which kids colored photos and hung them on the wall.

"This event was amazing and it was so nice to see all the different groups of friends and family interacting with each other and showing support for Team Fox and my dad," Sarah said. "My hopes are that I can host this event next year and will work on reaching out to the community even more.  I am so happy with how the event went and feel so grateful for all the support I have had from my friends and family who helped and who joined us to eat pancakes."
