Dr. Vogel is the R&D leader for Invitrogen’s Discovery Assays and Services organization headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, which is dedicated to providing research tools and services for drug discovery. Dr. Vogel received a PhD degree in chemistry from Stanford and a BS degree from the University of Iowa. His research interests include fluorescence technologies, assay development, and protein kinases. His efforts have involved the development and commercialization of fluorescent biochemical and cellular assays for high throughput screening of protein kinases, GPCRs, and nuclear hormone receptors.
