Robert H. Mach is the Britton Chance Professor of Radiology and Director of the PET Radiochemistry Program at the University of Pennsylvania. He has over 300 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, holds 28 patents on the development of PET-based radiopharmaceuticals and 26 clinical trials have deployed radiotracers developed in his lab. Research in his lab is focused on development of radiotracers for studying the molecular basis of disease using the imaging technique, positron emission tomography or PET.
